Wise Surf Wax: Our In-House, Reef-Safe Surf Wax Experiment

Wise Surf Wax is a small, in-house project from The R&D Dept.: an all-natural, reef-safe surf wax. No client brief. It came out of weekends in the water and a simple "why not?"

What is Wise Surf Wax?

It's surf wax made with all-natural ingredients that's reef-safe and built to perform without leaving a trace. Grippy, durable and smooth, for warm days, cold breaks and everything in between.

Why would a branding studio make surf wax?

Honestly, because we wanted it. I'm a dad of two boys in a beach-loving family, and I wanted to make products that fit how we actually live. Things we'd use ourselves and feel good about putting into the world.

It's not about building a product empire (though who knows where it goes). It's a chance to practice what we preach: build a brand from scratch, with nobody to blame but ourselves.

What's next?

Wise is the first of a few experiments like this. Some ideas start with a client brief. Some start with a surf session and a conversation in the sand. More soon.
